BIOL 1107 - General Biology II Laboratory CIP 2601015103 A zoological survey laboratory course designed to accompany General Biology II lecture (BIOL1307). Laboratory activities emphasize structural adaptations and their relationship to function through dissection of selected invertebrate and vertebrate organisms, along with observation and comparison of skulls and articulated skeletons from multiple species. Evolutionary adaptation is addressed with emphasis on genetics, population dynamics, and ecology. Credit Hours: 1 (0 lecture, 3 lab contact hours) Prerequisite: Successful completion of BIOL 1106 , and successful completion, or concurrent enrollment in, BIOL 1307 . Required skill level: College-level reading and writing. Note: Course Fee: $22.00 per course. (on-campus sections only)
