BIOL 1307 - General Biology II CIP 2601015103 A zoological survey of living organisms, emphasizing the characteristics and hierarchical organization of life from single celled organisms to multicellular species. Topics include structural adaptations and their relationship to function, evolutionary adaptation, genetics, population dynamics, ecology, and major differences among fishes, amphibians, reptiles, and mammals. Credit Hours: 3 (3 lecture, 0 lab) Prerequisite: BIOL 1306 or approval of the division chair. Required skill level: College-level reading and writing.
