BIOL 1106 - General Biology I Laboratory CIP 2601015103 A laboratory course accompanying General Biology I lecture (BIOL1306), emphasizing microscopy, hands-on investigation of living organisms, cellular structure and function, heredity and genetics, DNA technology, and the scientific method. Students will practice laboratory safety, data collection, analysis, and communication of results. Credit Hours: 1 (0 lecture, 3 lab contact hours) Prerequisite: Successful completion of, or concurrent enrollment in BIOL 1306 Required skill level: College-level reading and writing.
