Fundamentals of the biology of microorganisms, including bacteria, protists and viruses. This course also covers microbial control, infection, host resistance and pathogenicity. Credit Hours: 3 (3 lecture, 0 lab)
Prerequisite: BIOL 2301
Required skill level: College-level reading and writing.
Note: For students who haven’t taken a college level Biology course, BIOL 1306 and BIOL 1106 are recommended before taking Mircobiology.
