BIOL 1306 - General Biology I CIP 2601015103 A survey of the fundamental principles of living organisms including physical and chemical properties of life, and cellular organization and function. Concepts of cell reproduction, heredity, genetics, and the scientific method are also included. An emphasis is placed on DNA technology, genetic engineering and ethical concerns surrounding current biomedical issues.
