This course examines concepts, strategies, and current issues in recruitment, talent acquisition, selection, retention, and the deployment of human capital to achieve strategic goals. Topics include but aren’t necessarily limited to the strategic importance of staffing; the staffing environment; human resource planning; job analysis and design; recruitment; applicant screening; employment testing; interviews; references; decision-making; employment contracts; methods of evaluation the hiring process; deployment; and retention. Credit Hours: 3 (3 lecture, 0 lab)
Prerequisite: Senior Standing
