ENGL 2328 - Survey of American Literature: Civil War to the Present CIP 2314025112 A survey of American literature from the Civil War to the present. Students will study works of prose, poetry, drama, and fiction in relation to their historical and cultural contexts. Texts will be selected from a diverse group of authors for what they reflect and reveal about the evolving American experience and character. Credit Hours: 3 (3 lecture, 0 lab) Prerequisite: ENGL 1301 . Required skill level: College-level reading and writing. Note: Course Fee: $15.00 per course.
