Specialization in Health Services Management

The Health Services Management specialization prepares students for leadership roles in the business side of health care. Students will be provided with core knowledge and competencies for effective management in the dynamic health services environment. The curriculum, designed with input from employers, industry experts, and scholars, will teach students to think comprehensively and strategically about healthcare trends to lead innovation.
The specialization appeals to the following potential students who:
- Wish to combine the study of organizations and learning in their academic studies.
- Currently work in a technical role, such as a lab tech or nurse in health care, and who want to progress their career and become more involved in leadership roles.
- Are seeking a career change to enter the health services management sector.
Note: This specialization is not available to students majoring in Health Services Management
