Business Programs Transfer Plan: University of Houston

The pathway below is designed to facilitate transfer to the University of Houston Bauer College of Business for students planning to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Management, or Marketing. The freshman and sophomore level requirements for each program are the same.

Work with a Pathways coach or a counselor/advisor early in your pathway to customize this plan.
Consult a transfer advisor at the University of Houston.
Visit the UH Bauer College of Business Catalog to ensure transfer requirements are met.
While an Associate of Arts degree at Brazosport College requires 60 credit hours, the following pathway includes 62 credit hours, applicable to each of the Bachelor’s degree at UH. UH accepts up to 66 transfer credit hours.
Students completing this transfer plan also complete the Texas Direct Field of Study: Business Administration , guaranteeing transfer of all credit.

Foundations

Foundations courses provide the footing for the remainder of the Associates Degree and beyond. They provide the knowledge and skills upon which other courses will build. Whether attending full or part time, plan to complete most if not all of Foundations prior to taking courses under Knowledge Building or Preparing for Completion.
