The pathway below is designed to facilitate transfer to the University of Houston Clear Lake for students planning to complete a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities.

While the Associate of Arts degree requires 60 credit hours, the pathway below specifies 59 credit hours. The Bachelor of Arts in Humanities at UHCL requires the selection of two minors, totaling 30 credit hours. Nine credit hours are included in the map below. Students should work with their coach/counselor to choose transferable classes and additional classes to complete the Associate of Arts degree.

Foundations

Foundations courses provide the footing for the remainder of the Associates Degree and beyond. They provide the knowledge and skills upon which other courses will build. Whether attending full or part time, plan to complete most if not all of Foundations prior to taking courses under Knowledge Building or Preparing for Completion.
