Students learn various skills such as blueprint reading, estimating and scheduling. They also become familiar with current construction methods and materials, project manuals, bid packages, contracts, delivery methods and OSHA regulations.
Brazosport College’s classes offer real-world training. Employers in our region are eager to hire our graduates because of the solid, well-rounded education BC provides. Construction management graduates often work for construction management firms, engineering firms, architectural firms, contractors and large corporations who manage their own construction projects. Employment opportunities are excellent because the number of job openings continues to exceed the number of qualified candidates. Graduates typically work as project managers, superintendents, supervisors, project engineers, estimators, schedulers or general contractors.
