Pathway Notes:

While an Associate of Arts degree at Brazosport College requires 60 credit hours, the following pathway includes 53 credit hours, applicable to the Bachelor of Science in Engineering at Lamar.
The math requirements in this pathway begins with MATH 2413 Calculus I , which is the first mathematics course applicable to this degree. Some students may be required to take a prerequisite course(s) prior to enrollment.

Foundations

Foundations courses provide the footing for the remainder of the Associates Degree and beyond. They provide the knowledge and skills upon which other courses will build. Whether attending full or part time, plan to complete most if not all of Foundations prior to taking courses under Knowledge Building or Preparing for Completion.

Preparing For Completion

These courses provide capstone knowledge and skills, which prepares students for their next steps. Before beginning the third set of courses in this pathway, complete the Application for Graduation at the Admission’s Office. You should also meet with your coach/advisor to begin preparing applications for transfer.

1: Students planning to major in Chemical Engineering should also take CHEM 1312 General Chemistry II and CHEM 1112 General Chemistry II Laboratory .
