LAWT 2371 - Digital Rights and Ethical Standards

This course provides an introduction to the legal and ethical issues faced by digital content creators and game developers. Students will learn about copyright, intellectual property rights, and fair use laws as they apply to videos, music, and other online content. Additionally, the course will explore the ethical responsibilities of content creators, covering topics such as truth in advertising, influencer transparency, and community standards on major platforms.
