BIOL 2120 - Microbiology Laboratory

A laboratory study of microorganisms, including bacteria, protists, and viruses. Laboratory activities emphasize aseptic technique, microscopy, microbial culture, selective media, antimicrobial and antifungal agents, microbial control, and identification of unknown microbial species. Credit Hours: 1 (0 lecture, 3 lab contact hours)
Prerequisite: Successful completion of BIOL 2101, as well as successful completion of, or concurrent enrollment in, BIOL 2320.
Required skill level: College-level reading and writing.
