Principles of gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), including setup, GTAW equipment. Instruction in various positions and joint designs. Students will be able to describe various joint designs; describe safety rules and equipment; and describe the effects of welding parameters in GTAW; weld various structural materials. Credit Hours: 4 (2 lecture, 8 lab)
