DFTG 1309 - Basic Computer-Aided Drafting CIP 1513020011
An introduction to basic computer-aided drafting. Emphasis is placed on drawing setup; creating and modifying geometry; storing and retrieving predefined shapes; placing, rotating, and scaling objects, adding text and dimensions, using layers, coordinating systems, and plot/print to scale. Credit Hours: 3 (2 lecture, 2 lab) Note: Students are encouraged, but not required, to take DFTG 1305 and DFTG 1309 in the same semester. Both courses are required as prerequisites for most Drafting classes.
Course Fee: $28.00 per course.
