Recommended Course Sequence - Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

The Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program is a two- to three-year course of study that prepares students for licensure as a Registered Nurse. Upon successful completion of program, Brazosport College, and the Texas Board of Nursing requirements, graduates earn the Associate of Applied Science in Nursing and are eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN exam. Admission is competitive, requiring completion of prerequisites, the HESI A2 exam, background checks, and clinical clearances. Students complete classroom and hospital-based clinical training across Brazoria and Matagorda Counties, with schedules that may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
