Pathway Notes

While an Associate of Arts degree at Brazosport College requires 60 credit hours, the following pathway includes 65 credit hours, applicable to the Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice at Prairie View A&M. Prairie View A&M accepts up to 66 hours of transferable credit.
The Department of Justice Studies requires 6 credit hours in one foreign language.
The Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice at Prairie View A&M requires 27 hours of unrestricted electives, some of which can be taken at Brazosport College and can be used to complete a minor at Prairie View.
Students completing this transfer plan also complete the Texas Direct Field of Study: Criminal Justice , guaranteeing transfer of all credit. Directive electives should be based on the chosen transfer university.
