Pathway Notes:

While an Associate of Arts degree at Brazosport College requires 60 credit hours, the following pathway includes 61 credit hours, applicable to the Bachelor of Arts degree in English at Sam Houston. Sam Houston State University accepts up to 66 hours of transferable credit.
Students majoring in English at Sam Houston are required to complete an approved minor, consisting of 18 credit hours. Some of these hours can be completed at Brazosport College. Students should adjust this plan based on their chosen minor requirements.

Foundations

Foundations courses provide the footing for the remainder of the Associates Degree and beyond. They provide the knowledge and skills upon which other courses will build. Whether attending full or part time, plan to complete most if not all of Foundations prior to taking courses under Knowledge Building or Preparing for Completion.
