While an Associate of Arts degree at Brazosport College requires 60 credit hours, the following pathway includes 66 credit hours, applicable to the Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice at Texas State University. Texas State accepts up to 66 transferable hours.
Students who complete this transfer plan will also complete the Field of Study: Criminal Justice .

Foundations courses provide the footing for the remainder of the Associates Degree and beyond. They provide the knowledge and skills upon which other courses will build. Whether attending full or part time, plan to complete most if not all of Foundations prior to taking courses under Knowledge Building or Preparing for Completion.
