The pathway below is designed to facilitate transfer to the University of Houston Clear Lake for students planning to complete a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice or Criminology.

While the Associate of Arts degree requires 60 credit hours, the pathway below specifies 74 credit hours that are transferable to a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology at UCHL. This degree requires 33 hours of electives at any course level, so additional Criminal Justice courses are reflected in this plan. UHCL accepts up to 75 transferable credit hours.
Students who complete this transfer plan will also complete the Field of Study: Criminal Justice .

Foundations

Foundations courses provide the footing for the remainder of the Associates Degree and beyond. They provide the knowledge and skills upon which other courses will build. Whether attending full or part time, plan to complete most if not all of Foundations prior to taking courses under Knowledge Building or Preparing for Completion.
