Study of the interrelation of process equipment and process systems including related scientific principles. Laboratory exercises include operating small plants representing the following unit operations: distillation, extraction, demineralization, reactors, and waste treatment. Credit Hours: 4 (3 lecture, 3 lab)
Prerequisite: Grade of “C” or better in PTAC 1432 AND PTAC 1410 AND PTAC 1308 .
Required skill level: College-level reading, writing and math.
