This course is dedicated to the fundamentals of grammar and focuses on four skills in Spanish: comprehension, speaking, reading and writing. It emphasizes active communication aimed at the development of oral and comprehension skills and exposure to the diverse cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. This course is for students who have not previously studied Spanish. Credit Hours: 4 (4 lecture, 1 lab)
