PHYS 1301 - College Physics I CIP 4008015303 The first of a two-semester sequence of algebra-based introductory physics. Topics include the fundamental principles of kinematics and dynamics (motion, forces, energy, momentum) for linear and rotational motion, thermodynamics, properties of materials, and wave motion. Credit Hours: 3 (3 lecture, 0 lab) Prerequisite: MATH 1314 or approval of the division chair. Required skill level: College-level reading, writing and math.
