- Request that all official transcripts detailing high school and college credits be sent to the Admissions Office by the dates listed above. A separate transcript must be received from each college attended. (Students who have earned a bachelor’s degree or higher may submit one transcript indicating the highest degree unless they want to transfer courses from any of the other colleges attended).
- When all transcripts, applicable college placement, and test scores have been received by the Admissions Office, visit with a counselor and develop your educational plan and course schedule.
NOTE: Some students are eligible to self-advise. Contact the Counseling and Testing Office to determine eligibility.
- Tuition and fees must be paid by the dates and times designated on www.brazosport.edu/pay. Students may pay in full or setup a payment plan via myBC. Students will be dropped from all classes if payments is not received by the designated time.
- Official Communications: Brazosport College email will be used as the official method for communicating with students. This policy stipulates that the College will convey relevant academic and administrative information to targeted student populations via their Brazosport.edu email account. Students are responsible for checking their email accounts frequently and consistently, and for familiarizing themselves with the content of College messages. Correspondence may be time-sensitive, thus students are encouraged to check their accounts daily. Students may opt to redirect email to an account of their own choosing, but do so at their own risk. The College does not guarantee delivery to forwarded addresses. Errors in forwarding, messages returned ‘Mailbox Full’ or ‘User Unknown’, or failing to check email are not acceptable excuses for missing official College communications.
Admission to the Bachelor of Applied Technology Degree Program
While Brazosport College is an open-admissions institution, enrollment in upper-division courses in Industrial Management and Health Services Management requires separate application for admission and approval by the Bachelor of Applied Technology Admissions Committee. See Baccalaureate Degree Programs in this catalog for further information.
